Honestly all I want is to be able to play NX games on the go and let it have 3DS compatibility.

A lot of these N games play handheld games. With metroid on the ds consoles its never gave the 2d platformer, frankly i could care less for a 3d roamer on the handheld. Putting a 2d playformer on the console however wouldnt be smart, a 3d roamer is a must for a Samus game.

March 1st release date for NX would once again 'doom' nintendo. "nintendoomed" as one person has been calling it. esecially if ps4 comes out first somehow.

If the nx had an empty compatment and came with a specially designed removable SOC encased with a cheap graphics card kiinda like a hard drive and could be removed for easy upgrade, that would make a lot of sense for future proofing. thats if it doesnt get hacked riht away

You just put the cartidge in and launch the NX app to play.

My prediction i posted, makes total sense... They would just use the same technology they used with the n3ds. This however i dont believe is going to be the #1 gimmick.

The #1 gimmick of course is next level handheld playability. Sold seperately of course, as rumors have suggested. This will also use previous technology.
THINK Smash Bros 3ds Controller Capabilities Paired with Zelda 4 Swords GBA/GCN Second Screen WiiU tech.

Nintendo generally comes out with:
1 MAYBE 2 Mario games.
1 zelda game.
1 mario kart game.
1 Luigi Game.
1 Wario Game.
1 Paper Mario.
1 Mario Party
1 Mario Tennis
1 Mario vs Sonic
1 Yoshi Game
Generally ONE game of each of those franchises. But if the handheld and console are merged as one, dont think theyll give you 2 of those games...

I hope they balance the online matchups for Smash Bros like they did with Mario Kart 7.

and if they bring Starfox to NX they need to at least add online battles and mini games (not starfox gaurd) ($20 game at best)..... It hasnt gotten good reviews at all as it plays basically like a gimmicky StarFox Assault. StarFox Adventures LOL just bringing that game up cuz i actually beat it as a kid and it SUCKED too.

they've had since the 64 era to really improve on the content and the map size and ideas and multiplayer options that a lot of these games are disappointing. Metroid Prime 2 had 4 player battle if anyone remembers that....

Bring me a Zelda Oracle of Seasons type game for the console, that'd be nice

Zelda WiiU/NX will probably be the game that Skyward Sword should have been. An energy meter and water meter didnt really change any of the dynamics of zelda. Grinding materials for a shield only to have to gring materials for a shield replenishing potion... i mean c'mon. IT BETTER NOT HAVE ANYTHAT TRIFLIN STUFF

I see Microsoft silently releasing a Xbox 1.5. Although, that may give even more backlash.

the xbox 1.5 might actually sell good. Itll actually be on par with the ps4 neo this time around and they wont charge $500 for a far less worthy machine. Itll correct its mistakes from the recent past. Xbox1 didnt know what it was competing with the first time around and 3 game consoles never released at nearly the same time.

This poses more problems for nintendo now because they probably thought they wouldnt be in direct competition with ps4/xb1 this time...
