More likely just a forwarder than having HackMii Installer packaged within it IMO. But as has been said, the only way to LAUNCH a channel (which happens here) from the SD Card Menu is to have the ticket already on the Wii, i.e. the Wii would have to had a fake signed channel installed on it previously, so basically it isZonta85 said:Wake up.....
He simply fakesigned the IOS 80 to launch custom channels from the SD menu, and obviously previous installed a wad that contains the hackmii installer boot.elf inside.

Simple. They hacked the system beforehand using some real exploits. Dragged homebrew channel etc. out of the way and made a forwarder channel for the Hackmii installer. Its not hardmegazig said:Installing the channel banner to exploit a 4.3 wii would require another exploit. We can't legitimately sign it to install. How did they then run it on a virgin system? The fix to bannerbomb wasn't on the sd card part, it was in the actual banner rendering part, so it won't be the same exploit. They would have needed to find one of the other few holes that can be accessed without install.

I'm pretty sure megazig knows that, he's pretty knowledgeable and that is very obvious.Jamstruth said:Simple. They hacked the system beforehand using some real exploits. First of all, how the heck would you load a 1.23GB ISO without the use of homebrew applications (considering that the ISO image IS the actual exploit, with no way of reading it from the System Menu)?
It's not rocket science, just pure logic. Even megazig and the other ppl said it's fake, and they gave their reasons.
QUOTE(VashTS @ Feb 25 2011, 11:20 PM) if you take an sd card with a wiiware or vc game on it and copy that info to a new sd card, the wii will see it and the banner will be shown, it just will not launch. maybe they attacked the part where the wii checks the signature.
im excited i want to know if this is fake!
rapistebe said:I talked with the guy who is suposed to be programming the Nextploit, and I came to the conclusion its a fake. He seemed not to really know what he was talking about. First, he talked about exploits, but then, he said he actually had a way to insert a disk in the wii, and the wii would recognice it as a original gamecube game (he mentioned something like he had the gamecube disc codes), wich would be quite difficult. He also mentioned that he used CIOS249 (he didn't explain what for), but it sounded like the disk itself installed the custom IOS, he said that the disk was the exploit itself (weird thing huh?) . So summing up, basically he said: I am able to burn a cd with a installer that will install bootmi and all necesary ios, and the wii will think its a gamecube game.
In my opinion, it sounds soooo fake, and he said it doesnt work in pal regions yet, but he mentioned something like "I use CIOS 249 because it doesn't give problems for ussage in all regions".
What do you guys think?

I knew it was fake all along. The Shop Channel was way too outdated for 4.3.kamala said:At least we should give them credits for the effort of writing all those flashy Features plus capturing the attention of most people. At first it looked real but after reading thoughtfully and the 3ds part one may have the common sense of realizing something's not right here.
They even put a release date so we may wonder what would be their next move then.
