Wake up.....

He simply fakesigned the IOS 80 to launch custom channels from the SD menu, and obviously previous installed a wad that contains the hackmii installer boot.elf inside.

More likely just a forwarder than having HackMii Installer packaged within it IMO. But as has been said, the only way to LAUNCH a channel (which happens here) from the SD Card Menu is to have the ticket already on the Wii, i.e. the Wii would have to had a fake signed channel installed on it previously, so basically it is impossible highly unlikely for this to be real.

Installing the channel banner to exploit a 4.3 wii would require another exploit. We can't legitimately sign it to install. How did they then run it on a virgin system? The fix to bannerbomb wasn't on the sd card part, it was in the actual banner rendering part, so it won't be the same exploit. They would have needed to find one of the other few holes that can be accessed without install.
Simple. They hacked the system beforehand using some real exploits. Dragged homebrew channel etc. out of the way and made a forwarder channel for the Hackmii installer. Its not hard

I'm pretty sure megazig knows that, he's pretty knowledgeable and that is very obvious.

I think this is real. (I don't really, but if it turns out that it is, I'll be the only one here who was right :-))

There are so many reasons that lead to the conclusion that this is fake. Analyse the video or the letter for example with photoshop.

it now says that it is loaded from a 1.23G iso? is that supposed to be GB? maybe there is something lost in the translation. what is that even supposed to mean?

Exactly.

Now, this is weird. First, the exploit was loaded as a channel using the SD Menu, and now it is an ISO (WTF?). Since the beginning, I thought this was fake, but this fact just confirmed it, IMHO.

if you take an sd card with a wiiware or vc game on it and copy that info to a new sd card, the wii will see it and the banner will be shown, it just will not launch. maybe they attacked the part where the wii checks the signature.

im excited i want to know if this is fake!

you won't know till tomorrow,so stop assuming, fagg ots!

First of all, how the heck would you load a 1.23GB ISO without the use of homebrew applications (considering that the ISO image IS the actual exploit, with no way of reading it from the System Menu)?

It's not rocket science, just pure logic. Even megazig and the other ppl said it's fake, and they gave their reasons.

SifJar already said it: if the Wii doesn't have the ticket of the channel copied to the SD card, it can't be launched, no matter what you do.

I talked with the guy who is suposed to be programming the Nextploit, and I came to the conclusion its a fake. He seemed not to really know what he was talking about. First, he talked about exploits, but then, he said he actually had a way to insert a disk in the wii, and the wii would recognice it as a original gamecube game (he mentioned something like he had the gamecube disc codes), wich would be quite difficult. He also mentioned that he used CIOS249 (he didn't explain what for), but it sounded like the disk itself installed the custom IOS, he said that the disk was the exploit itself (weird thing huh?) . So summing up, basically he said: I am able to burn a cd with a installer that will install bootmi and all necesary ios, and the wii will think its a gamecube game.
In my opinion, it sounds soooo fake, and he said it doesnt work in pal regions yet, but he mentioned something like "I use CIOS 249 because it doesn't give problems for ussage in all regions".
What do you guys think?

i thinks its fake because:

(correct me if i am wrong!), you put a gc disc in the wii, the wii switches to GC mode. From here you CAN'T install Cios's, simply because the GC don't know Cios's. That se same reasen why we can't play GC backups from a HDD, because the GC doesn't know USB drive, so the wii in GC mode Can't handle it.

p.s. sorry for my bad englisch/grammar

well, I dont know it thats possible, I'm not really in this kind of wii hacking stuff, I talked to him from a computer engeneering software, seeing if the things that he said made sense (but many of them didn't). Maybe you are right, but the strongest point to think its a fake its: first, the thing that he kind of loaded a channel/banner/(whatsoever of that kind) from a sd, and second, that now he says he is capable of turning a normal disk, into a gamecube disk. Apart from that, he has made a website http://excluidos.tz.to/ in wich you can clearly read "Already, a date will be the premiere 11/03/11 NEXTPLOIT which will work for NTSC Wii 4.3. PAL. JAP. Acknowledgements The Team Xcluidos "
Lets see...
About the letter he says nintendo sent him, maybe someone could find some photoshop signature, or even some thumnails saved in the data of the picture, I know it can be done with some kind of digital photos. That could completely say the whole thing is a fake.

The guy makes me laugh. First it's a successor of bannerbomb, then it's a channel loaded through the SD card menu, and now it is a >1 GB ISO that is supposed to work on a virgin Wii? There's no freakin way this can be legal and genuine. Screw the guy, he just wants attention.

and now a 3ds emulator! this guy is hilarious. good job at getting attention. it sounds like fun, maybe i should try it some day.

FAKE. no doubt about it now.

At least we should give them credits for the effort of writing all those flashy Features plus capturing the attention of most people. At first it looked real but after reading thoughtfully and the 3ds part one may have the common sense of realizing something's not right here.

They even put a release date so we may wonder what would be their next move then.

I knew it was fake all along. The Shop Channel was way too outdated for 4.3.
