After three years, Baldur’s Gate 3 is leaving Early Access and is available in version 1.0 as of today on PC. For the occasion, a new trailer was aired:

Baldur’s Gate 3 is the next-generation RPG from the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2, set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons and providing a level of breadth and depth unprecedented in a modern RPG. More than twenty years after the release of Baldur’s Gate 2, it’s finally time to return to the Forgotten Realms. Your choices shape this tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is available on PC via Steam and GOG. It releases for PS5 on September 6 and arrives on September 3 for owners of the PS5 Digital Deluxe Edition. Be sure to keep an eye out for our review of the game!

Heard mixed reviews from BG1-BG2 fans. So will probably wait it out and hope this gets good mods like BG1-BG2.

Also wtf ~150GB install size

Deserves to be in GOTY contention for sure. They gave players almost TOO MUCH freedom in this one, makes for some hilarious multiplayer moments. I've never seen in-engine cutscenes look so good, either.

I hear this trailer is pretty spoilery, so I'll wait to watch. Downloading the game now after buying it day one of early access.
Literally nothing in it storywise.

Because they are not in-engine cutscenes. They are pre-rendered.
