Cool. Thanks a lot!the gba exploader moonshell2 version will work for direct gba game booting with BAGplug. i just tested launching Boktai.
I haven't gotten my DSTWO yet to try bagplug, but is it true that for game covers, the cover graphic file needs to be name the same as the game file UNLESS it's a commercial game, which then the graphic file needs to be renamed to the game's internal ID? If so, why is there this special extra requirement for commercial game covers? Technical or performance reasons? I currently use offlinelist to manage my files and the internal id is not exposed. It seems simpler to have everything named the same as the nds file, like with .sav, .dso, rtfx, etc.

Were you able to figure out why it is doing this? I am having the same issue....im using a dsi xl thank you in advance!Strange. I just set up a fresh 2gb microSD with latest EOS and bagplug and i still got this:
![]()

I need help again
I am trying to set up cover art. I have read the instructions, which are unclear
I have the nds roms on the root, along with a text file for game guides. I placed the coverart.ini file on the root as well it reads:
[Cover Art]
#path to folder with covers
folder =\_bagui\cover art\nds
#image type
type = png
The cover art is located E:\_bagui\cover art\nds\Dragon Quest 9.nds.png
I have Dragon Quest 9.nds on root, not in a separate DSGames folder because I want the games on the main screen
I dont know what I am doing wrong.
Also was I supposed to have to create the coverart.ini file myself or should it have been in the original files for me to edit? There was no covertart.ini file originally, I created it, not sure if that matters.......I have been at this for hours...I seriously want to smash everything!!!! Any Help Would be greatly appreciated.
ini file example:
**********************
[file extension] -file extension must be replaced with the file type you wish to add covers for
#path to folder with covers
folder = /_bagui/cover art/nds
#image type
type = png
**********************
*Commercial NDS roms use the game ID for covers and do not need the file extension in the title of the cover file.

Oh my gosh, thanks so much for helping me...I was foolishly trying to follow the instructions from the OP, not the manual.txt.....they are different. Turns out just changing the file extension did not help, but reading further i saw it said I can place the coverart.ini file in bagui/userfiles as an alternative to placing it in the game folder....for some reason this helped. It is working now. Without your help I would have never figured it out, lol, thanks sooo much, hopefully I wont need anything else, but unfortunately I feel Ill probably be back for somethingFrom the BAGPlug manual.txt
Looks like you need to change the [Cover Art] header of your CoverArt.ini file to [nds]. If that doesn't work then we shall continue down the check list.

grab the gba.ExpLoader.nds and rename it to something like ExpLoader.nds, and add a gba.arg to the _bagui/ext folder.
for example, my gba.arg looks like this:
Code:GBA: "//ExpLoader.nds"//file path to the plugin [$PRGMPATH$,$FILEPATH$]//arguments are separated by commas ;
