I wanted to post this so people could be aware of that new soldering trick with R4i Gold card.
The new update mechanic of the card could DAMAGE THE FUSE ON THE 3DS and it seems some people reported that.

I strongly suggest to not to use the card in ur 3DS system, use it on DS if u don't mind breaking it.

There have been numerous reports of people actually following their procedure and blowing a fuse on their 3DS

I have not heard of a single person blowing the fuse on their unit..

How could you? No one can "hear" what are others are essentially typing into their posts. Even if it has confirmed to be happening, you won't hear it anywhere. You'll most likely "read" it.
