Hey all, thanks for reading. I'll get right to the point - (with a more detailed post near the bottom). I'm having trouble with my Wii - backup loader issues, the dreaded Exception DSI/black screen, across multiple loaders. I suspect IOS problems, but I'm not totally certain.

More details:
-Have tried multiple HDs, SD cards, and thumbdrives.
-Homebrew channel can read content on the hard drive; it simply fails while attempting to load content (games) after launch. This takes the form of timeouts and (Exception DSI errors)
-Emulators will launch off the USB hard drive. WiiMC works as well. The problem seems to be specific to Wii games launching from the WBFS folder.
-Currently loading games (placed using Wii Backup Manager) from WBFS folder on hard drive formatted to FAT32 via DiskGenius.
-One hard drive is powered, the other is not
-The unpowered hard drive is a Sabrent enclosure around a laptop drive, and other users have recommended this specific enclosure and reported it working
-Have tried all backup loaders I'm aware of, using contemporary builds and older builds (which worked with this specific hard drive, on a different Wii, as recently as 2012)
-Have tried launching apps from hard drive, and from SD card
-Have tried connecting hard drive both before launching loader, and while loader searching for it
I'm sure there's more pertinent information I could offer, thanks again to anyone who reads this.
