So do you know if Guitar Hero World Tour NTSC works on PAL wii? Or do I have to Brickblock it in order to run 1:1?

Btw I can't see any option when i'm launching backup launcher gamma and gecko os......Only see the titale with a black screen....
No, it's a problem with the wii - NTSC wii games output red when using RGB (apparently it's because the wii tries to output svid instead of rgb when running ntsc). There is currently no way around this.saoriii said:I still have my problem with my red screen on all NTSC games + RGB cable... I think it's a problem with the code of the backup launcher...

You should be able to run it no problems after brick blocking it.
That just removed the update screen which is the one that can brick your wii - after that play away

But I've got a little problem installing the cIOS
If I try to do it via Wiigator's installer, it gives me a HASH BAD error while downloading part #7 (SD and WiFi)
If I try Waninkoko's cIOS installer, it gives me a ret = -1 error while donwloadring and patching content #8 (SD and WiFi)
What should I do to install the cIOS?
I've got a 3.3v1 PAL Wii, with cIOS36 v6 uninstalled

Hey djtaz!
I have an NTSC Wii ... so is it a general rule that I should be running brickblocker on all the PAL iso's prior to burning 1:1 so that I won't accidentally (the kids) brick my Wii?
Thanks,
HS
... and this is why these guys are in the thanks channel loader i have in my sig :jfitie said:Try the WAD version of cIOS249 rev 7, it's in the link in my signature.
If you can't install it with the 'normal' wadmanager, install IOS16 and then install cIOS249 using wadmanager for ios16

What is strange is that wiiware games don't seem to do it.
For now you'll either have to get component if your TV has it (which isn't as good as a true RGB signal, but barely noticable) or use the standard composite cable (but I dunno how anyone can use that, it looks awful).
You could always use Svideo too I suppose, which is slightly better than composite but nowhere near as good as RGB.
I hope this works THANKS!!!!jfitie said:Pozas said:Good job Wanin and Gator!!!!!
