And WiFi works with original games? Not very impressive.

And to the guy who keeps spamming his WiiLoader site, Wiigator has an OFFICIAL blog now, so stop it. I'm surprised it's not in the rules.

Except if you read the post that Wiigator made a few pages ago (and the blog you linked) you'll see that he's considering a public beta to address specific issues he can't find with a small group of beta testers. So apparently Wiigator thinks it's a useful idea. Can you tell us how he should find these bugs that he can't reproduce?

Look at other stuff like mods for games they are mostly all open beta because the people that made them wants everyone to try so they can get a faster reply on how it runs and what bugs they have to fix..

I know that, which is why I am ranting about it right now.
It would be a very bad choice.
How many people here even know how to properly report problems?
The compatability wiki just proves this.
Games like No More Heros work, but they randomly crash, I had to go in and change it from wroking to playable.
He needs testers who will play a good chunk of the game, not just start it up and say OH IT WORKS.

NO its not useless! if its useless why do most of software company conduct public beta before they release their software?

public ALPHA is completly USELESS because its in early state of development and most likely contain heaps bugs, but
public BETA is better THAN private BETA. public beta will find bugs faster than private beta.

bottom line IT'S not useless!
