i want to know if the games can be zipped and if it really has to be in a dvd cd that gets used.i want to use a cdr thats why i am asking and at the moment i don't have a dvd burner for my computer.

i also want to know if gamecube would work using gamma or do i have to also get the gamecube luncher for that

The wii can't read cd's. only dvd's.

It can read CD's - it just cant play anything off them - it has to DVD and most DVD's wont work well with re-writables .

It has to be DVD-R (preferably) or DVD+R (if your stuck with them)

Leave it to you taz to forget to mention if they are +r they have to be booktyped to -r

no, the can´t read cds, the laser doesnt have the cd diode (or something like that)
