Hacking Question Backup done at 4.0.1. Should I make a new backup at 6.2 done with Choirdojour?

That's my doubt.
I made a backup when I first started my Switch at 4.0.1. Then I updated to 6.2 via Choirdojour.
Should I make a new backup now at 6.2?
Could I recover my switch with the backup I have (4.0.1) in a potential brick?

As long you don't burn your fuse, you can restore back to 4.0.1.

With the first one you have enough to fix a possible brick

Also burning fuses is valid to restore the console but need to launch the nand with a CFW.

I've burnt 5 fuses so far. I think it's ok at 4.0.1.

I understand that you're technically correct but with noobs it's best just to say you cant restore because there's no real benefit to restoring an older firmware if you have to launch a custom boot loader every time.

I would prefer to just make another backup especially if it's working fine so that if you somehow softbrick your console you can just restore to the same fw version.
Of course you can still restore to your older backup but then you'll have to update your fw again adding more work.
I always keep 2 backup with me, the original fw it came with and the last fw update of my switch.
