Hacking Backing up saves from original carts

How can I backup saves from my original carts with the M3 slot 2 device so I can transfer them to my computer?
I'm a real newbie so a step by step guide would be awsome. Anyone?

I think that covers everything for backing up original savegames and getting them to work on your M3. Not sure if all the links to the downloads work so you might have to google them and find them somewhere else.

yeah the Wiki is a bit confusing. I'm gonna try and figure this all out tonight, as I'm getting my M3 adapter today!
