Gaming Backing Up Laptop?

Hey, I need help on backing up my laptop. I store my backup on a USB hard drive but it's starting to run out of room, does anyone know how to make a backup via some kind of server? I know there's FTP but I kinda don't know what to do with it.

Please help me out, because I download quite frequently and don't want to have to reformat from a crash, which has happened many times...

You need to have a server to back up to in the first place.

You could use a free one, but they could decide to lock you out or just go down the drain at any given time, and if you're going to pay for one (which would be a monthly cost), you might as well just buy another harddrive.

If you have an external hard drive you could plug it in through usb and make your back up, i think this is the best way to go

agreed. they're pretty cheap nowadays. i got my 1tb one for like $90.
