Well, I've been away from Wiibrew for almost a year now, and I'm interested in starting back up again. So I dusted off the box yesterday and took a look at what I had.

- Wii System Menu 4.0U
- Preloader .30
- BootMii (Version Unknown)
- Homebrew Channel 1.0.6
- D2C Pro Modchip
- cIOS rev14

This is mostly out of curiosity, but is it necessary for me to change any of these things to be completely compatible with today's Homebrew? I've seen some of the more recent developments and I'd really like to try them out. And, if someone knows, what is the most recent cIOS?

I haven't touched my Wii in months, except for updating with Hackmii .7... but your Wii seems fine. No point updating to 4.2 or 4.3. You should update to 4.1 if you want to play Wii Sports Resort. Apparently, cIOS 249 (aka cIOSX) is best at rev17, although most people are on rev20 now. It's best that you moved onto the most recent Priiloader if you plan to update the HBC, since it now has a new title ID.
