It already supports XCI format, you can install XCI files using XCI Installer: https://gbatemp.net/threads/xci-installer-released-by-new-switch-group-2168-0002.518173/

You can install them like nsp, but it cannot mount them like SX OS does.

SX OS method is 1000x superior, but there doesn't seem to be any plans to bring that to atmosphere
