No, PSP, nor Dreamcast will work, unfortunately. The 3DS will likely have issues running an N64 emulator, even so.

Yes, the PSP ran N64, albeit, slow, however, despite being more powerful, the 3DS holds completely different architecture

Maybe it can run it but a which speed? 1FPS?

If emulators ever gets released on 3DS, the best you can expect is full speed PS1 anything above is out of reach for such an outdated ARM11 CPU, maybe there'll be some surprises but don't hold your breath.

I think PSone is the practical limit. Although, if you want a handheld to play emulated games on, get a PSP - it's the ultimate emulation machine.

if you're in it for emulation, you'd be better off getting a PSP, between the two systems

how about psvita power is possible to have ps2/wii emu ?

Most likely not. Out of that gen, PS2 was the weakest, and it's highly doubtful the Vita could run it. Is there a chance? Sure. Is it a small chance? Much smaller than you can imagine.

Wii is pretty much an overclocked gamecube, gamecube is more powerul than PS2, so that's a definite "no"

Pretty much, what 3ds can do when/if it gets hacks is play more complex homebrew games and run emulators that are below the ps1 at full speed, so yeah emulation wise it won't do that much better than a psp, thats why so many are waiting for the vita to get hacked, because with vita's power you can run a full speed dreamcast,n64 and ps1 emulator.

Sigh... It could handle up to PS1/N64 and likely PSP at a decent speed. Beyond that is not only an issue of power, but an issue of there hasn't been any good emulation code written for the newer systems, even on a powerful PC it is unplayable. And for those doubting N64 emulation, Daedalusx64 for PSP gets pretty close to full speed in all games and PSP is significantly less powerful than 3DS, with a dedicated enough team behind the emulator it is definitely powerful enough.
