Gaming Arms vs Splatoon 2

im on kind of a verge between these two here. I loved Splatoon 1 but then again I'm afraid it's more of an expansion pack than a new game. Would I be more happy with Arms?

What do you guys think

Arms really isn’t that fun tbh, you will get way more hours out of splatoon 2.

I played the Arms Global Test when it started up... It was fun for the first few hours, but that was about it. Its a game that you probably could have fun playing once in a will, but not constantly. It doesn't have enough content to keep me playing it. Some people can have fun with those fighting games. I like DB Xenoverse Games, but those have wayyy more content that ARMs...
Id say go for splatoons or just wait for Mario to come out tbh

If not, i tried. Honestly I would buy arms for maybe a discount $30 or less. I say is more of a "causal come over and let's party" kind of game, is probably the same kind of status bomberman has. I never played any splatoon, but i tried the global test fire back in may, I wasn't able to say if i enjoy it or not, it just felt neutral to me. Had I had more time to play rather than the times given, i may be able to express more info for it. Another game i'd get on discount

It kind of is, but there's enough new content to make it worth it IMO.
Arms is okay for an hour, it's really rather repetitive though and probably not something you'll end up playing a lot.

I don't think arms was the game that was intended to play a lot in so many hours, but over short periods of time. But is good to have more fighting games on nintendo again. So then opinions on Pokken tournament dx? Both are $60 so I mean is also a fighting game, would that also be a option as substituting for Arms?

I tried both too and Splatoon 2 is really the better thing to play

Considering I couldn't even get 5 hours out of the main arms game and I've managed to squeeze 65+ hours out of Splatoon 2 (probably 45-50 of those being salmon run), I'd say Splatoon 2. But it's really what you're into I guess. Do you like 3d fighting games but with a twist? Go with arms. Do you like shooters? You'll probably like Splatoon 2 since Splatoon is very unique.

I think its just that Splatoon 2 feels like it has so much more depth, and you move around so much more in the game. Its makes all the difference in my opinion. Splatoon 2 is just more fast paced and there is so much more strategy I feel like you can implement in it compared to Arms.

In Splatoon 2 you can:
- Commit mass genocide on your waifu's race
- Commit mass genocide on your other waifu's race (or your own race)
- Commit mass genocide on another race and rob their eggs for some cha-ching
- Stalk on you waifus everyday when they're in their room talking to each other
- Draw waifu posts and upvote other waifu and robocop posts (in Japan)
- Eat salt when you lose
- Eat more salt when you're winning and "The connection is unstable"
- Eat a lot more salt when you get de-ranked because of that
- Fuck rank, go grind gears in turf war
- Done grinding, go back to rank
- Keep eating salt, and blame your teammates for losing even though you're at the bottom of the chart
- Wait! I'm on S+? Yay!
- Wait! I have 50 more S+ ranks to fight?! YAY!!!
- Wait! Ranks are separated between modes? That means I have 150 more S+ ranks to fight?!!! YAAAAAY!!! Somebody, kill me!
- OK, S+ is hell, this is not fun anymore, why am I still playing?!

Well we are talking about Splatoon "TWO" there is improvements compared to game like arms and pokken tournament which haven't really much time to improve outside knowing about it recently. I'll admit arms is pretty shallow at the center, is a fighting game with up to 4 players at once and have about 4 game modes, and not very big roster compared to all the arms in the game. Pokken dx i assume made improvements since last year release and perhaps try to become better but perhaps at the end of the complete update patches it may stand out a bit better. (Provided nintendo doesn't give up on it too soon) Honestly I would say that perhaps Arms was a rushed game and maybe didn't try what they usually do with their games and give much casual content for the players and wanted to rely on the multiplayer aspect of the game. I really hope people stop rushing games to be the next big thing and make it worth purchasing for the price they slap the label on. Switch carts seem already as expensive as can be and they won't even try to fill up enough space on it with the technology they developed.

Arms is ok. Worth the money? Maybe not unless you really into fighting games. The single player mode is way too short, and just repeat over and over again.

Splatoon 2 single player mode alone is worth the price, each different type of weapon for each level can be a whole new world. Online mode is a huge plus, a little bit repetitive but fun and challenging. They got new stuff coming every week.

Got the Splatoon2. While yes...its basically same as 1, still fun as hell and I dont regret it
Also what the F is this Wifi chip on the switch?
I get full power on ipad with download speed of 6mb/s, meanwhile switch barely manages to hold one signal line and downloads are slow af?!
