Here is a new Dev build of BootCTR9.
I added support to Fix the Path for Luma3DS. Simply set "enablePathFix" to 1 in your payloads configuration, and the reboot patch should work, without the need to use the path changer tool.
Besides that it includes all my previous changes like bootanimation support and softreboot detection.

I will clean up the code before I will push it, but I nearly only did what the path changer does to the payload in memory.

Edit: the path fix is also only supported for the arm9loaderhax.bin version, not for the .dat version.

Can you build the current commit please?

Here is it, its from the merge branch, were I merged the bootloader branch and delebiles newest a9lh version.
With this version only the arm9loaderhax.bin or the arm9bootloader.bin is needed(depending on the used a9lh version).

I will also do another pre 1.0 release, after I testet it a bit more(especially the a9lh part), because I think the arm11 api for arm9payloads will need a bit more work.

When you are able to release it, could you make a forum here too?

I want to add at least the a9nc support, but first I wanted to test the a9lh fork for bootctr9, which seems to work now together with the merged changes from delebiles last a9lh.
I think I will be able to release the pre 1.0 at the end of the week, and because I don't know how long it will take to finish the arm11 api, I will create a BootCTR9 thread with the pre 1.0 release.

I am forever the optimist and am hoping by the sharing of these kind of informations will perhaps one day lead to either an emuNAND above 9.5 for N3DS users or even a direct CFW through sysNAND

I can live in hope and these type of threads can only help

Funny to go back and read this comment now. Looks like you got your wish and then some :)

Yeah, you can format it. It won't affect A9LH. It will delete the account, data, and games from the 3DS.

Here is a new BootCTR9 dev release: Pre 1.0 RC
In this version I added support for:
  • compressed boot animation (set the second configuration byte to 1, or add "lzd" to the plaintext configuration file)
  • a boot password, which should prevent others from running other payloads than the default one
  • the a9lh netloader companion
  • plaintext animation configurations (.cfg files are now plaintext and .cfgb files are binary files)

For more informations about the usage check out the BootCTR9 Wiki
