If I were to swap my 9.2 sysnand and 10.6 emunand after installing a9l, won't I run into problems when Nintendo issues an update? How would I update my 10.6 sysnand w/ a9l so that I won't lose the a9l?
AuReiNAND blocks FIRM0/FIRM1 when updating sysNAND. So when Nintendo pushes out an update, you should be unaffected. I updated my A9LH 10.5 sysNAND to 10.6 with no issue.

AuReiNand has a patch that patches the updates so firm0 and firm1 aren't updated so you'll be able to keep a9lh.

You can just type in "make stage2" if you sync from my repo and then use the updater that was released awhile ago to update using the stage0x5C000.bin file that is produced

I was able to install the initial update for screen init fine, but now when i try and load the updater, the screen just turns off immediately.

edit: got it to load and pressed A to install, but upon bootup without SD, does not turn off

also, how the heck am i supposed to sync a repo?

@dark_samus3' build has more features, but is not certified to be 100% stable/brickfree.
I would recommend you to keep using delebile's unless dark_samus3 confirms that you can use his repo without worrying about bricking.
But isnt delebile using some of dark_samus3 screen init code?

Is that true? I only ask because as of recent I thought I read here that delebile is using some of dark_samus3 screen init code.
dark_samus3's fork has a couple of extras, namely Python 3 support and shutting down when no SD is inserted instead of locking up.

Hello guys, is screen_init of any use to date? I mean: is there anything else other than CFW and Decrypt9?

Are you planning on making innovative homebrews out of A9LH?
I think the main goal is to port brahma payloads before creating any a9lh-specific homebrew, because unless it's a special case, why would you develop an app that only works for a9lh and not brahma/hbl?

This means there are no real advantages in installing A9LH as we're able to do everything we could do by it using ThemeHax, am I correct? No special permissions, emulators, more RAM, etc...?

Nothing for now, but this will become the BootMii Equivalent in the future (Or probably even more).

You're able to use brahma privileges on boot. You can load Decrypt9 without the Nand system ever being loaded, meaning sysnand restores.
