Gaming arm7-fix

i didint play my ds lite, becouse of thanks to stupid SP ONE, while I was waiting I found that some new games dosint work and needet some haxing to do to make it work (arm7-fix)
can sombody explain why these is needet dose the game developers added more protecsion ?
dose this problem gose to any card ownder like SP one R4DS ect ?

uh I was looking what was the problem that you needer to patch arm7 but it didint answeard my questiont, ateast I know that it becouse of the new game.

From what I know, the whole ARM7 thing is something like a copy protection. I really just snatched that up somwhere, no idea if that really is true.
