For reading *.jpg images straight from your card, DSOrganize and Moonshell are your only two main options. If you can live with pre-converting your images however, Comic Book DS is easily the most versatile image viewer available for the DS. Shame the homepage got removed though.

I like the DSOrganize's viewer, myself. I wish it had zoom, though
