I want to get a white psp and this is the only way I can think of the get a white psp in the U.S.

Yes. You can upgrade to CFW with a pandora's battery according to this guy. Appearently he had some problems at first but at the end he manages to pull it off. Could be handy for you.

I just modded one Saturday. I believe they stopped production of the White Vader PSP, before the motherboard upgrade.
