Gaming Are Pokemon ORAS savegames compatible with each other?

Can i backup my Omega Ruby (installed as cia) savegame, convert it somehow/or edit it somehow and restore it for Alpha Sapphire (and vice versa)?

Judging from a topic on reddit in which a user ask the same thing, you can inject your OR save straight into AS without any problem

Works with X/Y too.

I just tried it with Savedatafiler and it worked! But you have to delete the secure sector after importing the save

You should be using JKSV it does this for you automatically across the board.
