im going on a holiday to the uk for a month and in AUS they are like nerdy to be playing like on a train or something is it same like this in uk??

I think the main thing to think is: who cares? I doubt you'd be playing it much except there and back and maybe in the hotel. It really depends where about in the UK you go too. Where about in the UK are you going?

You're on holiday, you should only really be playing the DS minimally.

Yes, appearances to a load of people you will never see again! Nobody will give you odd looks for playing it on a train in my mind though, especially on a long journey.

Im 30 and play my DS on the train to work each day (currently working through Picross 3D). Ive never been called a nerd, or even had a derogatory glance.

I play my DS everywhere. At home, on the bus, in school... There's probably lots of people that think I look nerdy, but I don't give a damn. For all I care tehy can go fuck themselves. I like what I'm doing, and I'm not annoying anyone (I play with headphones on) by doing it, so who are they to say I should stop? Just do what you feel like, as long as you do nothing annoying for others.
