Hacking Are 3DS demos signed/region locked?

I know this sounds like a noob question, but are 3DS demos signed? On the Xbox 360, most demos and all XBLA trial games can be copied to a different 360, with no region protection either. I know that the 3DS is a completely different system, but I think someone should try copying a 3DS demo to a different 3DS (if it hasn't already been tried). Who knows, it may actually work.

Yes, 3DS demos are signed, and region locked. It won't work though that way because channels need a TWCert (certification) for the 3DS you would want to copy which is currently unaccessible (to the homebrew scene). You can probably copy demos with the System Settings's 3DS channel transferer, but you cannot share the channels on the internet yet. It will not work atm
