Arcomage ver 0.99
For the Arcomage newbies, it's basically a card-based heroic fantasy game based on one of the games found in Might & Magic VII for the PC.
Anyway, Bodom-Child has rolled out Arcomage v0.99 and he's added quite a bunch of new features. So if you loved the previous version, you might be willing to update it to v0.99 which is packed with the following fixes and additions:
- All known bugs have been fixed (if some of them are still hidden somewhere, tell please me)
- 2 Players mode (hotseat) is available.
- A new "Premium" card has been added : Orange Power. It's rather powerful. Towers and wall are a little redone.
- New "orange" sky. I think it's more beautiful than its predecessor.
- Menu has been remade.

Arcomage is a Heroic Fantasy card game, which made its first appearance in the PC game Might & Magic VII, as a game side quest which was practised in the various taverns of the game.
Being fan of this game since I've played Might & Magic VII, I decided to adapt it on DS.
The first version was presented to the Neoflash compo, it was a little buggy and didn't have a 2 player hotseat mode.
The PALib compo is consequently a good event to present the new version 0.99.
How to play:
You start each one, you and your enemy, with a castle and a wall protecting it, all two of a certain size.
Your goal is either to destroy the enemy castle, or to get your castle to the maximum size of 100.
For this you've got resources (Mana, Stone, Gold), which increase each turn according to the number of generators (Temples, Quarry, Gold mines) you own.
At the beginning of the turn you've got a hand of 6 cards with various effects, which require each one a certain number of resources to be played.
If you have enough resources to play it, place your cursor above and press A. If on the contrary you wish to discard it, press X.After a card is played, it's the ennemy's turn. Each time a new turn comes, you recover a new card and your resources are increased according to your generators. Use tactic to use the good cards, or discard others to save your resources for later on... Good luck!
