iPhone 4S? Don't you mean iPhone 1.7?? Seriously, most if not all iPhone versions are basically the same besides some sort of firmware update, case update, and...well that's about it really. The iPhone 1 could have all of these same features of all they did was release the firmware updates for it. I stopped watching Apple such a long time ago, the only reason I'd get any kind of iProduct now is if it was required by some higher force which will probably never happen. They sell their shitty products for way to much and there is no way I'm gonna spends $500 (or however much this is) on something that would be virtually the same as previous iPhones.

The thing I love about Apple is its simplicity and it just works. While I do agree that Android is really good I can't say its better, and I can't say that iOS is better then Android. Both have its advantages and downfalls. Android has lots of bugs in its OS were things start to break for no reason. Today I noticed how my Android phone just deleted half of all my music for no reason when I woke up today... And when I updated Cut the Rope on my phone it deleted my whole save data...

You've got about a hundred different devices to choose from with features you probably won't use, outdated versions of Android, never going to be updated, Market full of crap apps, hundreds of hours configuring it to your needs and then if you do choose the wrong phone, you're stuck with it.

You've got about a hundred different devices to choose from with features you probably won't use, outdated versions of Android, never going to be updated, Market full of crap apps, hundreds of hours configuring it to your needs and then if you do choose the wrong phone, you're stuck with it.

iPhone? Simple and easy.

Android offers more configurations that differ as much as the user. I do like Apple but I like customization more. That being said each has its different qualities. If you like constantly tweaking and optimizing your phone (ROMs, Kernels, Themes, Launchers, Different Messaging apps, etc.) like I do, then get an android. However if you want a closed OOB device that works as-is only, then get an iPhone. Both work really well in their own right, just don't buy any Android product from China.

The first iPhone had a 480 × 320 screen, a 412 MHz CPU, 128 MB RAM and a 2 Mpix camera; the 4S has a 960 × 640 screen, a dual core CPU at 800 MHz, 512 MB RAM, an 8 Mpix camera, and a GPS, compass and tilt sensor.

Those upgrades might not be that important to you, but they're not something that could have been added with a firmware update.

The only gripe with Andriod OS is that most of the smartphones can't update as soon as the OS comes out. The phone (in this my G1) can't upgrade to Andriod 2.2.1 which means I'm FORCED to buy a newer, slicker, and still battery draining smartphone.

the only reason ppl didnt buy or shift from iphone 3 is price and with that become more "gentle", u can definitely expect it. they were holding onto the skirt of iphone 4 and when 4S with that price was announced it was finalized (the decision that is)

What do you expect your phone came out in 07... Its a horrible phone that is slow and doesn't have enough power to get Android 2.2.1 running at a stable speed. Its the same thing as saying Oh I can't update my 2001 PC to windows 7...
