I'm an avid Ape Escape fan, played the SaruSaru's on the PSP, and played all the ones on the consoles.
I love this game. It's awesome and amazing, and I'm only 5 minutes in! I encourage anyone who hasn't played it to play it. The starter pack is awesome. Also, if you want to increase the game you can buy the expansion packs.
