I've been searching for quite some time for an updated list of AP2.5 games; yet to no avail.

Although knowing them is quite obsolete; being that LT+ is a work around; i would be nice to have some sort of list (i have 2 360's still on 1.6 with the 1 shot boot disc) so it would be nice to know if games are AP2.5 before i download.

Can you guys help me out making a list. I am only aware of the games that had AP 2.5 activated after the January dashboard update / iirc they were: mw2, black ops, and halo reach

Anyway, i wish to make an updated list, so for those who know of any please post back.

Just to note it is looking like every game after the first bunch (I think it was a fifa game that first had it) will have AP2.5 as of the next dash update. Xorloser had a post on it but his blog is down it seems so a link to somewhere that quoted it (sadly the comments on the blog were pretty good)

Other than that Armadillo took it- it gets a bit more once you add in region dupes but it is still those 6.

So in other words i may as well just not bother with LT+ now and wait for LT 2.0 basically ?

The reason why i asked is that i was worried about the very same thing as you just discussed FAST - at first i thought they were just rumors, but now it seems true , that AP2.5 has been somewhat "sleeping" so to say; this is why i asked for a list, i thought they were MUCH more than just 6 games.

and the likes are they will force this update among people - even for us 'offliners'

See post below
It looks like LT 2.0 is set mainly to bring XDG3 support- LT+ still supports AP2.5 for any disc that has it burned on it and c4e has promised a public AP2.5 dumping method in the near future (at present it is not much use)- that is to say LT+ should still play everything other than XDG3 discs provided it has AP2.5 if it needs it and splitvid.
Naturally this will mean reburning with AP2.5 and splitvid or perhaps if you prefer buying in one of the drive emulators set to appear shortly and forgoing dual layers.

As for updates I am not sure- wave turnarounds (and so the updates they carry) have been very unpredictable these last few goes around which was only complicated for people by the beta workarounds and issues with JTAG machines (no hacked dash but patches to remove versions checks).
However this does represent a major shift in strategy for MS so I would not bank on it being a long time. Indeed I would not be all that shocked if F.3.A.R. or Shadows of the Damned (this time next month) had a new wave with it all on and I will be shocked if it has not appeared by the time Deus Ex: Human Revolution drops (late August).

FAST ...

Thanks.

From what i could make out from that post is that flashed drives will be completely wiped out after that update ...

Is that even possible ?

They can be flashed again but it will take a new hacked firmware and new version of jungleflasher and all games look like they will have to be reburned with new AP2.5 data (apparently even those with the original AP2.5 patches- not sure about those nonstealth AP2.5 patches that were doing the rounds a couple of weeks back however but it is not suggested that you use them)- do make sure you have the keys to the drive beforehand though.

Possible- we had long thought it not possible but some of the stuff you can do with JTAG machines and DVD keys (see some of the more unusual functions of xellous) probably should have indicated otherwise.
