Hacking Anyone burn games on Memorex or sony media?

Thats all my local shop has and I don't want to drive to far lol
and with the backup loader can you run PAL games on a NTSC american system?
and for another digression , can the new loader play scrubbed games?

I use sony DVD-R media so yes...

Yes, I have run many pal games.

Memorex or sony should work fine so long they are standard dvd -+r. People report that some pal games are playable;(patched via wiifrii and force pal60) on a ntsc system and that scrubbed disks are playable.

Memorex DVD-R is what I use. Works fine, I haven't had a dud so far (hopefully I'm not jynxing myself by saying that).

Deca Sports is only 500mb when scrubbed and compressed, but I've heard very mixed reviews on the game itself...

i have sony dvd-r. they work just fine, no problems. however dvd+r didn't work for me, so unless there is some setting i forgot to change to make + work, i would recommend getting - for burning games. but thats just my opinion

I had some Memorex DVD+R, but they didnt work. Went out to the local CVS and picked up some Sony DVD-R and they have worked fine.

Sony dvd-r's are definitely good . They seem to be one of the better brands. I wish I could find a good price on verbatim's though.

I use Memorex DVD+R, and burn with Nero booktyped to ROM. Not a bad burn yet.

I have, it was the first wii game i got a hold of

it shows up as black and white on a ntsc wii even though its pal
if u use geckoos to boot the burned game on the wii,tell it to force ntsc then it will be in color.

X3 have fun, the only thing that is slow is the loading times,menu screen, and if your playing your own
music form a sd card the song pauses every 15 or 20 seconds.

game play is the same as the real one though
