Hacking Any way to selectively copy saved games from wii to wii u?

There use to be a utility that allowed the wii to copy your save game files (incuding mario kart) to a hard drive and then import into another wii.

Is there another way to copy a save game file from the wii to the wii u?

savegame manager gx??
i use the priiloader hack that allow copy of protected saves, but still no priiloader for vwii, so savegame manager gx is the only option ATM.

you can do the same thinf yuo do the Wii->wii


you can copy the save to your SD card
then RUN THE GAME on the WII U
then copy the save from the SD card to the WiiU


copy protected file can NOT be copy in this way

i remember transfering my mario kart wii save to a friends wii, he was lazy to unlock everything(is time consuming anyways) and worked just fine, the only problem was that the save had the very same id for online than mine, so the save keeps all that data, i even tried changing 1 file of the save that was somewhat related to the online part but didn't worked.
the only thing you need is have the game create a save first and then transfer the save with savegame manager gx, otherwise the game will say that the save is corrupted.

Yeah I was able to transfer Mario kart from Wii to Wii. I tried transferring it to wii u but could not get it to work
Nevermind. I updated to the latest version and now it's working.
