I just noticed this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/custom-...ection-for-system-menu-backup-loaders.325003/ and I am using a regular Wii (NOT a Wii U)

but alas, there's no tutorial on how to use these forwarders.

First off, the thread says, near the top: ''The Channels will make it easier to launch Gamecube games directly from the System Menu (Doesn't require any USB or Disc loaders).'' so where should I put the ISOs on either an SD Card or USB Stick?

Secondly, this caught my attention, also near the top of the thread: ''DML/DM is the only prerequisite for the channels to work on the Wii.'' What does that means? Should I install DIOS MIOS to make the forwarders work?

Last, is there anything I might have forgotten? The WADs are installed on my Wii, but they do nothing... yet.

(Do note that I rip the GC games myself, I'm not getting them from some ROM site 'cause they're filled with viruses and/or malware, and I only want to play games I paid for. And sorry if this sounds like a n00b question... I just wasted 6 hours trying to figure out how the forwarders works...)

I like Yoshis and the Wii/Wii U scene.

@NitroHedgehog

Sorry for necrobump :P

Not sure if this helps but @libertyernie made a good tutorial for make Nintendont autoboot (auto load & start) a GameCube game, here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...ader-for-games-skip-the-emulator-menu.520525/

If you also want to make forwarders or game autoloaders for old games (NES, SNES, N64, GBA, Arcade, etc...), this another tutorial by me will also work: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...ls-of-your-favorite-retro-games-d-wii.602640/

Hope this helps ;)
