any interest in modding/hacking FEW: Three Hopes?

I am using nxdumptool to extract.
Then I modified it directly in a binary editor.

I was able to modify LINKDATA_A.BIN slightly.
Class Abilities is from 19167E.
Weapons are from 266E10.
Accessories start at 26D400.
Battalions start at 279400.
Mastery Abilities, Combat Arts, Magic start at 27EF30 in class order.

I am looking for the data of the character but I can't find it at all.

Yes. They have 2 separate Shez (M/F) and Byleth (M/F) as well.


I have managed to make it look a bit better. But hard to edit it cuz it has checksum or something.

How does SilentLuna's binary template work exactly? I dumped my save with JKSV and opened it on 010 Editor, but when I run the template "FEW2Save.bt" over it I get this error.

Clicking "Load" opens an unrelated window.

That's looks like you download the web page instead of the raw file itself. There should be a raw file option. Select that THEN save it.

Whoops, I should have opened it with a text editor to make sure. My bad.

But now I'm getting a different error:

Don't worry about that error.

Select the Variables then you will see all the stuff.

If you wanted to edit a Chapter then it's in Blocks[4]

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys. I went to Block 4 Data, chose a different chapter and right-clicked the SlotData tab to save my changes.

Sadly, the game doesn't seem to be able to load my newly edited save data (it takes me back to the save selection screen without any error messages), while the original backup in a different slot does work. Any ideas?

Don't know if this fits your criteria since it's not 100%. My save has all 3 routes completed, currently on 5th playthrough, all characters unlocked and at maxed level, all weapons obtained. 99% of the support are unlocked except a few.

The chapter value was originally set to 12 / 00000000 0000000C, and now is 11 / 00000000 0000000B.

When running a checksum on "block checksum" (first value within Block 4: 4039579) it says 00000000 0000017B. Should this value be 4039578 for the save to work?

Not really.

You need to run checksum on

Then you can see that check sum is 3B B6 5F and reverse then it will be 5F B6 3B so I can edit the 60 to 5F

Which save are you talking about? AFAIK all the shared saves here (including my own) already have all characters unlocked, so you obviously can't unlock them again (I believe the 3 renown characters are the only ones that cost 60 renown and that's what you're referring to)

as I said before, if you can't buy them it's because the person who played that save you used already bought them. Check in your roster under the "other" tab.

Im sorry i wont take up any more of your time on this after this last question but does this mean i am only able to recruit them in that save or how do i get them in the current one?
