Due to DMCA takedown notices GBAtemp is (and has been) no longer able to link to or host files for the Gateway 3DS and other 3DS flashcards. This extends to our sister site as well, Filetrip.

Sicklyboy Would like to remind GBATemp Please do not ask for or share links to these files, whether out in the open forum or via PM. Offenders will be dealt with accordingly.

im a little confused here, so i dumped a physical copy of poke y that worked, i tried playing that rom and it worked but my save was corrupted (had to press up + x + b to delete saves), so i went back and dumped poke y again and used your script and got the .sav file, now my question is do i just inject this .sav back into my dumped rom with the script? i tried that but it still said the save was corrupted, am i missing something?
i don't want to read through all the previous post, so one quick question,
can i backup my saves from my original games yet?

thanks in advance
no, but with 'nand saving' (pokemon, animal crossing, ... etc) games kind of yes, since the save is in the 'rom'.
There's no built-in way to dump saves yet.

Gateway seems to use different save encryption, since I backed up my Mario Kart 7 save with my R4i SaveDongle and tried to use it with my own MK7 rom, and it said the save was corrupted. It's possible Gateway can make a save dumping tool that will convert the saves to work but don't expect anything.

Even if that wasn't the case, newer games including Pokemon use the newer 6.x.x save encryption which the Gateway doesn't support because of the way the emuNAND works, so saves from those games may never work on the Gateway. On the Gateway those games will be forced to use the older method which results in "corrupted" saves if you copy to/from a retail cart as well as playing the retail carts on emuNAND.

I keep getting "No Games Found" when I press select. I have a 4GB microSDHC card, formatted to ExFAT. The ROMs I am trying to load are all trimmed. Is that why they aren't working? I am trying tiny ROMs, too; 89MB or so.

I am SO CLOSE, dammit.

All games I've put in worked flawlessly. No problems whatsoever. I'm loving this new update. It's the 3DS flashcart that should have been from day-one.

So glad I survived the 3DS bricking fiasco. Hopefully there shouldn't be any more problems.

True. This 2.0 update is their best update so far.

Can anyone tell me why neither ExFAT nor FAT32 is working? I keep getting the message saying there are no games on my microSD.

Seems as though physical saves have to stay with physical, and rom saves with roms. At least in my brief testing.

Hopefully once this is released, we get to see more Japanese roms. I'm still waiting for Exstetra to be dumped but given Japan's banning of flashcarts, I'm crossing my fingers.

No idea. But exFAT is definitely working on my end. No need to trim roms. I'm using a 16gb scandisk card.

My friend, that didn't stop bravely default and kirby from getting dumped. Besides even if they don't get dumped. You have the option to import. Classic mode finally bypasses the region lock.
It seems GW has been working on things other than the update for the firmware. And I, for one, am glad.

Maybe you used directories?
Directories are not yet supported

Nope. Just dropped the ROMs directly onto my microSD.

My 32GB microSDHC with Bravely Default flashed to it comes up as "Raw game found", and then it loads, but I can't for the life of me get multi-ROM to work.
