It looks like you switched the cliff side of your map by editing the acres. The same thing happened to me but as far as I can tell there isn't any type of fix for it. If you don't want that black bar to appear then you have to keep the borders of your new map the same. I figure it has something to do with how the ocean and main street line up.

I can see where you're coming from, thank you.

Didn't you want to delete your character? You posted a picture of it and asked how to get rid of it.

You obviously misunderstood, so sorry for you. :rofl2:

Do you think It will be possible to add the ability to turn a villagers furniture? Kind of how the arrows are able to be changed to change the direction of the furniture on the users rooms?

Signed up just to post here! Wanted to thank you for all your hard work!

I also have a little bit of an issue. I restored a friends save with full house upgrades and PWPs unlocked, edited up my town exactly how I wanted and changed the Mayor name to my personal name. But whenever a new villager moves in, they call me by the original mayors name. So, my name is "Joshua" and all the old villagers call me "Joshua" but new people in town call me "Gregor" and it's a bit of an annoyance. Is there any fix for this?

This works great! There is just one slight problem. When ever I import my save, it resets my house to a tent, I have to talk to Resetti again, and my TPC picture gets deleated. Please help.

Heyo! I don't really understand how the new Revive and Desert grass function works. There is the whole map and for example if I klick Revive + then this whole map turns green a bit everytime a bit more. Does anyone can explain this to me? :D

The darker the green/beige, the higher the opacity of grass/dirt. If you left-click on the map you can make the grass in an area more visible and if you right-click the grass becomes less visible. You can basically just draw your dirt patches.

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be very useful if we could import and export our grass maps. It just seems very repetitive and annoying to have to redraw your map every time if you want to create dirt paths.

This would be extremely useful if possible. I've always wanted dirt paths but I play too on and off for them.

That feature may come in the future :-) But I'm busy right now, sorry.

BTW... Can I get some feedback relating to the grass editor?

I love the grass editor, but it's a bit frustrating to try and place paths in specific places. If possible, could the grass editor be made to show the location of trees, bushes, and buildings? I have many trees planted to line potential dirt paths, but since they have so many twists and turns, it's nearly impossible to try and guess where to place the dirt paths. Thank you so, so much for making this incredible editor!

I'll ask before I download or change anything on my ACNL: So what happens if you have 2 copies of the game(both of them are the digital version)? Can I select which game I want to edit? (o and idk if someone has asked it before, dont feel like reading 300 pages :D)

You can have up to 7 copies of digital installed. There's AC:NL and the newer Welcome Amiibo ones that has the update built in. They have different title IDs. You can have USA, EUR, JAP, and KOR of AC:NL and USA, EUR, and JAP of Welcome Amiibo. Of course you have to be able to navigate the JAP & KOR games. You can have 4 total of USA and EUR version. I guess you can even set the EUR ones to German. It might get confusing because the USA and EUR use the same banner as far as I know.

You edit the save. I'm not sure how JKSM names the game directories. That might make it confusing. You can name your save folders and you can tell the titles by their serial and title ID so if you pay attention, it should be ok.

The Japanese game labels it as
Animal_crossing_New_leaf, while my NA version is
Animal_crossing_new__leaf
And the welcome amiibo is just
ACNL welcome amiibo

Guess I'll find out the next couple days. Was hoping to see two different icons or something since one of them was bought after the Welcome Amiibo update came out.
Just dont feel like deleting or changing my old world ^-^
But thanks! X3

Hi! I'm new to hacking and I need some help. I've edited my town many times and it's worked fine till up to now. When I insert my SD card my garden.plus.dat file doesn't show my most recent save file but instead it comes up with the save file from the last time I hacked. This has caused problems for me as I had demolished a public works project in the game to place player 1's house on that spot but I can't do that because when I insert my garden.plus.dat file into the save editor my map shows my town from before the last time I played and I have to start the day all over again if I import the garden.plus.dat file. Please help, I can't seem to update my garden.dat file to the most recent save.

It sounds like it's coming up with your previous garden_plus file because you didn't dump the latest one properly or something went wrong. If you still have your game in a "current" state as you want it, extract the save using jksm. If you don't have a valid save, u will have to resort to using that old save sadly.
