I tried to add it to 0x5d864, then i tried to add it to 0x5d904, still didn't work.what offset are you adding to?

By doing some calculations i realized that there's a 0x1228 distance from player1 to player2's offsets
iiuc, the difference between pre-update offsets and new offsets is different depending on the memory region... So you might have to find the difference for each memory region e.g. Emotions difference is 0xD0 in its region whereas House size difference is 0x5A00 in its region.
Hmmm I don't think that's it, because I based my calculations on the offsets on this post and I always thought that post had "universal" offsets?Might be something like this:
So perhaps 0xA480 is the earlier memory regions while 0x1228 is later memory regions. Honestly just a theory, don't know why its different...
The editors player difference is 0xA480 * player (0=mayor, 1=player 2, etc), and that also works with the NTR plugin so I don't know why theres a different difference between players for house offsets... I'm too tired to think of why this is happening but it might be the reason it's not in the editor atm.Hmmm I don't think that's it, because I based my calculations on the offsets on this post and I always thought that post had "universal" offsets?
thanks for finding them !! will be using this soonYep. I'm using the EUR version of ACNL so i don't know if these work for everyone, but here they are:

I'm going to edit the other characters' offsets as well now, so I'll add their offsets later!
Btw, after you edit the room sizes, you'll also want to edit the house size, which is on offset 0x5d904

Did you ask Tom Nook to expand your house before hex editing? That might be a reason.i tried making my second characters rooms bigger, but the only one that up-sized was the main room !! am i doing something wrong?
I have a cartridge version. It gives me both a garden.dat and garden_plus.dat@bilvyy When you export your save, do you get a garden.dat file and a garden_plus.dat? Also, have you cartridge or digital?
okay i haven't asked !! yes i did change them !!Did you ask Tom Nook to expand your house before hex editing? That might be a reason.
When you went to change the room size bytes, did you change the "01" byte (if the room didn't exist yet; 02 or 03 if it existed already) into 04?
Odd, I gave a cartridge version as well and it only gives me garden_plus.dat.... is your game on version 1.5?I have a cartridge version. It gives me both a garden.dat and garden_plus.dat
Hmm. Sounds correct... try looking at the modified garden_plus.dat file and go to the offsets again to check if the changes were actually saved.okay i haven't asked !! yes i did change them !!
@Ningyoplug Ahhhh, I wiped everything from my savedata folder to double check, and it isn't giving me a garden.dat file anymore. That must have been an old file from a previous backup. (I'm also not sure how to check my ACNL version)I have a cartridge version. It gives me both a garden.dat and garden_plus.dat
ah okay !! are they fixed ? i realised you changed one already !!Odd, I gave a cartridge version as well and it only gives me garden_plus.dat.... is your game on version 1.5?

Idk if it matters but did you also edit the house size?
EDIT: I didn't check before but apparently the same happened to my secondary character. Must be a mistake on my side! Will fix the offsets asap
on the bottom screen at the startup menu, in the right corner, it should show what version you're on. the latest is 1.5.@Ningyoplug Ahhhh, I wiped everything from my savedata folder to double check, and it isn't giving me a garden.dat file anymore. I think they're fixed now! I still need to test thoughah okay !! are they fixed ? i realised you changed one already !!
What do you mean? If the editor sets to 9999 then the cheat is working correctly, since the editor says 'Do you want to set 9999 Meow coupons to this player?'@marc_max the max meow coupons is 99, 999, and the editor set to 9,999.
That's normal. Just update the game to get the Welcome amiibo update and it will turn automatically garden.dat into garden_plus.dat.I have an issue. I have an old garden.dat file from February that I tried injecting into my previous game by changing the NAND value. When I load my game up, it tells me to download the latest update from the eShop. I knew I might have done something wrong with injecting it, so help is appreciated !!
And that's why they are disabled.Out of curiosity, why does the editor say you can have Isabelle, Tom Nook, etc. as villagers? Is that really in the games code? I edited the page to enable the option to select them as a villager and it actually turns the house invisible and crashes the game when you tap on that house in the map haha.
That's impossible. Also, would it be possible to actually edit the acres that are supposed to be water? I was able to make those acres island acres without the game crashing, but you still can't drop/manipulate anything because the game knows your out of it's boundaries. It would be cool to be able to actually put things there though via the editor.
Can you confirm you used the latest editor version? (27th Dec)The unlock emotions thing still doesn't work for me... I'm still using the same save as before btw. The one I had already used the button on. And I've done too much stuff on this save already so I can't load an older save or else I'd lose all my progress :/
Well, I just incorporated what another user posted, didn't know about their original source. I don't mind adding you to the credits in the sourcecode if you really want it, but I guess we should credit Nintendo too lol, since the assets were extracted from HHD if I'm not wrong. These icons were taken from HHD, edited, and organized by my friend and I for a previous version of NLSE. We've been meaning to update it, so thank you @esponjado for updating it to the most recent version, however, please give credit where credit is due. We were unaware someone had did it for us, and it was a shock to see these icons in the editor earlier today. It took us a while to make the guide where these icons were originally from, and it wasn't quite so easy for my friend to clean them up and make them look as nice as they do.
I tried again and it worked! :>Can you confirm you used the latest editor version? (27th Dec)
Which player did you try to edit?
Help! I've successfully used the town editor before the Amiibo update, but I can't get it working anymore. None of the changes that I make in the town editor will stick in my save file.
I was doing all kinds of edits at first, like changing villagers, moving buildings, fixing my hair, adding/removing items in my home and inventory, even maxing out the bank to give that feature a go... then I tried the process all again after only changing items in my inventory and still nothing.
- Console is 11.2 (EU), cartridge copy of ACNL 1.5
- I'm using Soundhax to access Homebrew and the save manager
- I export the save data to my SD card, then turn the console off (also, ACNL is the only game i have backed up)
- I upload the garden_plus.dat file to the editor (love the updated editor btw! sooo nice to use)
- I save the changes, and move the garden_plus.dat file onto the SD card, replacing the old garden_plus file
- SD card back in the system, I open homebrew save manager again, and import the data.
- Turn the console off and on again, open animal crossing, and nothing has changed whatsoever
