I added a few authors to the post. Hopefully a mod can clean up some of the garbage in here. 51 pages and probably 4 of those actually hold meaningful content.
You could try to empty the villager/house slot in hex editing and then use your compiled save (or hex) editor to possibly add in a villager into that empty slot to have the right animal house?
Is there a way to change the button from ZR to a different one for moon jump cheat? I havr now the greetings via ZR and moon jump only works now vertically, i can't go to other directions
To what extent are the game's files accessible via LayerFS? I'd really like to edit the dialogue, i.e. cut it down. I'd also like to be able to eliminate some dialogue options entirely.
Further still, it'd be great to speed up certain actions, e.g. automatically make crafting blazing fast or certain animations near-instant.
Okay, so Norma is due to move in tomorrow, but still whenever I try to change the hex values to make her into someone else, my data always ends up corrupted. I'm sure I'm changing the right values, as it matches up with all of my other villagers, but I can't seem to figure out why nothing works. Does anyone have any tips? Sorry for the trouble.
Either I'm doing something wrong and the design I've been trying to import via save editing simply isn't compatible or I didn't quite swap out the data correctly or HorizonCrypt simply needs to be fixed for update 1.1.1
Regardless, I can't import this one design with save editing otherwise I get a broken save message. I did revert to my save backup so that's not an issue but I wonder if there's any real differences save wise from update 1.1.0 to 1.1.1
I didn't experience this problem before with a similar design on 1.1.0 and I haven't tried simple save edits so I have nothing else to verify that other save editing is affected.
