It edits your game save file. It can basically edit everything about your game. The latest version also generates AR codes for "Real Time" editing.

Maybe I'll just put Animal Crossing on my DS and edit the save and show it to her.... "Yeah, I don't know why you found 'such-and-such' so hard??" hehehe

don't see much point in this. how is editing th map going to make things that much easier?

You can also edit your items. inventory, remove all weeds, etc.

Not only that, you an even modify your neighbors, including their name, model file, how they call you, their personality. Also your town layout, including putting spesific fossil in spesific location, putting spesific painting somewhere, increasing your money to packs, re-arrange weher Tom Nook's is, where the museum is, editing what's in lost and found, changing your Town's name, etc.

In short, you'll be a God of Animal Crossing World, able to modify, create and banish anything in your path
