Hi All,
I’ve searched for hours and haven’t found the answers I need, so I’ll post this.
What is the status of Animal Crossing Wild World with M3 and latest firmwares
I’m planning to buy an M3i for use on a DS lite and this is what I hope to do with it. . .
I want to create a ROM with my own retail AC:WW cart (and several others).
I want to want backup and restore saves so each player can have their own town.
I want to use AnimalMap to edit the save files on my PC.
I want to be able to use the most common in-game cheats.
I also saw one post saying that there could be a problem with lag on an 8gb micro SD, so I may need to go with a 4gb card.
Confirmation of these capabilities and any details would be greatly appreciated, so thanks.

Okay ummmm

AC works on latest M3 firmware
To create your own rom or backup your saves i think you need 2 things a gbaflash to dump your game and to dump your save i think it needed a ds action replay, no the cheat one i can't remember.
Also in-game cheats wont work on a normal animal crossing rom, it needs v1.1 rom, and the animal save map works but i cant get it to work on my save, something about super river thing.
And for capabilities i have no lag on my 4 gb mirco sd M3 Real(and again i don't think theres a lag difference from M3i or M3 real.)

Thanks for the reply.
To dump the ROM, I'm planning to use Homebrew: NDS_Backup_Tool_Slot2_04 if it works with M3 and the GBA expansion pack. If that don't work I'll try NDS_Backup_Tool_FTPd_011. I'm hoping one of them will work.

Appreciate the cheats info. 1.1 good to know. I don't know what version I have (ADMEN1J20) Based on that number, do you? anybody?
I suppose, if I have v1.0 I can find a way to export the save and import it into a v1.1 ROM. Let's hope.

Not sure what you're saying about the super river thing. Maybe "core river edit" under advanced is not working for you? My concern in this issue is the .sav file format and it's compatiblity with the AnimalMap program. If AnimalMap will open the .sav file - I'm good there. Will it?

The lag I saw reported was on an 8gb card and they though the size of the card had something to do with the lag.

No Problem

Yes if you transfer your save from 1.0 to 1.1 it will work and also the save editor works with .duc, and .sav save file and i did get problems with core river and as for lag i have no clue??
