Hacking Animal Crossing (E)

Recently replaced a DSTT with Acekard 2i. Simple setup with AKAIO, ported all the games from the old DSTT memory card and every single game except Animal Crossing works.

When I say works, it does what it should do fine and boots, plays with no problem BUT the game data from the DSTT is gone. It's like I turned the game on for the first time and it asks me to start a new game, there's nothing from the DSTT sav to contiue. Seems odd to me when all the other games data are just as they were on my DSTT.

Any ideas people, is there some sort of conversion I need just for the Animal Crossing sav file?

The verison I have is the (E) version, clean not trimmed and all settings in AKAIO are as per first installed.

Animal Crossing had many troubles on AKAIO, till AKAIO 1.7.1, where the game was fixed and playable.
You will need converting that DSTT sav to AKAIO compatible, but I am not sure if it will work after that.
Maybe it will be better to start this game from beggining...
