From WikiPedia:

The Amstrad CPC was a series of 8-bit home computers produced by Amstrad during the 1980s and early 1990s. CPC stood for 'Colour Personal Computer', although it was possible to purchase a CPC with a green screen (GT65/66) as well as with the standard colour screen (CTM640).

Yeah that was good too, nice platformer. I must have forgotten many games.

Yay for retro computers!

It varied by region. Where I'm from, Commodore 64 and Apple II had been largest. A few others were known too. Like Atari or Radio Shack. Coleco wasn't popular around here though.

Amstrad ones, MSX, and ZX Spectrum were unheard of locally.

Ahhh, the "Roland" games... back before the term "Shovelware" was invented, but after the underlying concept was.

Roland in the Caves... Paco Suarez and Juanjo Redondo, if I ever meet you I'm going to have to punch you in the nuts for mangling the music sooooo badly.

No, what *I* want to play is Sweevo's World.

Man, we thought we were such hot shit back then, with our dual cassette decks and C90 compilations of pirate games.
