Hardware Am I screwed?

maybe, i am just trying to think of a way out of this, so what happens when you turn your wii on? any lights on the wii, does the screen show anyhitng? :S

and @ the topic, you uninstall you system menu with no NAND backup, yes you are screwed

Well, the only last resort i can think of is creating your own savemii, but you say you have already tried that.....I am assuming you did it properly though yer?
edit....upon further reading, forget savemii, even if you did get it working, you need a disc with a higher firmware than that installed on your wii

would savemii even even work when the wii doesn't even boot? I cutted into the gamecube controller holding up down left right but it never even booted

that is an example of someone doing it, apparently the GC pad must be in "slot 4".
