Hacking am i screwed or not?

i recently got a wii for Christmas and have been jumping from forum to forum to see about all this stuff...
its a brand new wii and am 90% sure that it is a d2c which apparently for modchips, its the devil...

having something brand new after a while isn't as good as getting it really soon
ANYWAY...

i have learned compared to the other wii's mine is a disaster area
so i come to you guys with a few question

1. is the wlip that coming out will it be able to support my d2c wii?
2. what mod chips currently work with a d2c?
3. which is the cheapest?
4. which is the easiest to install?

i would really like help from a person with d2c experience if possible
any information to this thread would be greatly appreciated

No you're not screwed. D2C can be chipped fine.

1)No it doesn't. They are meant to be making one for d2c support after they finish the current one that supports the earlier wii's.
2)D2CKEY , Argon , Infectus programmed with wii code
3)Pretty much all same price.
4)Argon or infectus. 13 wires compared to D2CKEY's 32.


Infectus doesn't seem to work properly. Argon seems alright ,but hasn't been out long and not many people have them. D2CKEY is fine and has a proven record.

if you went to the D2Ckey site, they now offer a new easy mod accessory thats like the wlip. but made for it.

The flexpcb is nothing like the wlip.

Wlip = Clip on system that clips over the DMS\D2A\B chip.

Flexpcb= Flexable pcb that lays around the D2C chip and has to be soldered to it.

How are they anything alike?.

ive been searching forums to places where i may ourchase the product but i cant find really anyhtin

D2Ckey - Alot harder to install, slightly cheaper but again its hard even with a flex pcb.

Infectus Argon - 13 wires, so far the easiest, great team behind it looking to be in business for a long time.

d2cPro - Comming out soon, similar to the D2Ckey, alot of wires and hard as for the newb. made by the Mars team (unsure of quality) Looks similar to the D2Ckey ie. look wise I doubt it the same code. Budget Edition.
