Hi I’m just curious if this is at all possible, I’ve been here for a long time but I e never actually heard anything the would make me lean one way or another, if I am allowed to do this where would tube the proper place to do so? Any help is appreciated!

I dont think it counts as advertising if someone has specifically asked you for the link. Advertising would be more without prompt, you just randomly dumped a link somewhere without any context.

I'm not a mod and don't have a full handbook of rule depth, but I'd imagine there's some reasonable lenience. If you're posting your own video with a purpose outside of just "I made a video watch it!!" I'd personally say it's fine. Like "I made this game, check out some gameplay I recorded, download is below" seems fine.

Trying to promote your channel in order to gain viewers is seen as advertising.
Showcasing a homebrew game isn't, iirc, we've had several front page posts that included youtube links towards someone's video showcasing things.
