Unfortunately soft reset code can't be so big and the base code (for R4) is written in asm.

Yeah... my only help is:

QUOTE
lock softreset (B4 command not supported)

Have to found out how to "add support" for that command. Or founding an other way to softreset. :/

I have thought this and tried but currently I can't fully understand the method of how it was done to reseating games.

I have worked on that but with no luck yet. Maybe in someday...

Well you got it to work with part of it, it's only a matter of time before you figure out how to make it work with the other parts

That is not fully true. Reload after the skin/language change was easy. I only had to redirect to done use _ds_menu.dat, instead of it use the wood.nds. So it was easy and was done in the menu.
Enabling softreset during the game is the job of the loader and working a different way.

One thing is for sure. From the menu we can reset wood simply with that command:

Code:
ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂloadRom( "fat0:/wood.nds", "", 0, 0, 0 );
Nothing special about it, it just use the loader.nds to load wood.nds like it would do if you select wood.nds and load it. This way works from the menu.
I'm just wondering how could I do it enabled during the game... it would be the easiest way for softreset. Bypassing every code from the original and doing softreset in this way. Maybe this is a stupid idea and can not be done but this is my only idea. :/

Hmmm dunno. It is definitely not the fault of the wood because it is working for me.
Other skins working just some of the skins don't work?

Some roms take a bit of time to load.
At first thought, the YSM3 did not recognize the infolib. dat, but soon came to the conclusion that the DMA function does not work properly. Can you fix it?

Thanks!

I don't have such a issue.
How about on R4?

I have read in the forum of the TTMenu the loading can be slow if you have bad sd card, even if it added to the infolib. It recognise the infolib.dat that is for sure. I have tried everything to fix. I have formatted the sd card with Panasonic sd formatter, even in fat32 and ntfs filesystem but some of the game still slow. For example Pokemon Platinum stuck at about 80% and only loaded about 3 minutes.
I have tried to generate infolib.dat with the generator, but it is still slow. I don't have any idea how to fix it, if anyone has some post here.
Sometimes I can't believe it is related to the slow sd card. For example I tried to just rename the r4patch.dat and copy as m3patch.dat without any fix. It was very strange but pokemon platinum booted in 5 seconds. But in this way the most game can not run. So currently I don't know it is because the sd card, or the m3patch.dat was originally bugged.
That is why I don't use YSM3. If all of the games would loaded in seconds not in minutes I would use it. We have to find out.
