Suggestion Alerts Box Redesign (Make Use of Screen Space)

I have this concept for an alert box redesign:

So, basically it's a resize (and a slight rearrangement), to make use of the available screen space.
The Alert Box is sometimes annoyingly small, for me at least, when I have a lot of notifications waiting to be read.
This redesign would make it easier to see more notifications at once.

If you're going to do this, make an option to choose between the two designs.
Because I prefer the current one.
