Maybe it's your memory card, I don't know if class has anything to do with speed. Mine is class 4.

The class has everything to do with speed. The number measures the average transfer rate for that card (Class 6=6MB/s or faster).

I'm also using a class 4 SDHC and it works flawlessly for me.

CLASS Determines the WRITE speed. For flashcarts you want a MicroSD with high READ speeds. This is well known, as is the importance of Random Access times.

The Kingston class (4) Japan cards for example get read speeds of 20MB/s, these normally outperfrom class (6) cards. The maximum read speed of any MicroSD card is only 25MB/s no matter the card, the class or how much you spend on it.

It works fine for me on RC2, I use a class 2 8 GB sandisk card.

First thing's first, copy over your files and format with the Panasonic Formatter.

Then if that doesn't reduce lag, then what you can do is follow tk_saturn's method. Basically what you want to do is download the latest Official FW. Then extract it and you will find the akmenu4.nds. Copy that file onto your MicroSD into this location: SD:\__aio\ak2loader. Boot up your Acekard and tap Y twice. The last option on that screen will allow you to set a loader, either AKAIO or the Official FW.

I tried MPP just the other day for about 40 minutes and I didn't experience any slowdown, but then I had my card formatted with the panasonic formatter.

thanks for the tips, as i sayd before, in this case it as nothing to do whit class of the card since it as worked flawlessly before the RC2, but i will try to format whit the panasonic thing

i get slowdowns when i use cheats on nanostray 2, when theres alot of enemy fire + my fire/bullets on the screen, it lags a split second
