Hacking AKAIO 1.5 Released

i downloaded the ak2loader.nds file from the AKAIO site... then replaced the same file in the loaders as it said on the download page

That's what I thought you did. Hover the new loaders are incompatible with akaio 1.4.1, so you have to remove 1.4.1 altogether, then install 1.5.

could you explain?.. all i have is a 1.5 nds file where would i get the 1.5 install

Why do people think that the patches are better than the AKAIO fixes they definately arent, especially pokemon AKAIO is the only team to patch it properly as far as i know none of the public patches fix it 100% akaio does

Honestly I don't even care about pokemon I'm really more waiting for the English version.

Lmao I didn't even download the Pokemon game yet... I will wait until the english version comes out too or a decent good translation comes out that makes the game 3/4 english at least.

downloaded the game for cheat code and testing purpose
i will wait for the full chinese translated version

by the way, the existing english translation is not good enough?

Edit. Just deleted the old folder and .nds file and replaced with new and it's working but my saves aren't working, any help?

Edit(2). renamed the save files from .nds.sav to just .sav which made the saves work.

Just copy files over, there is no need to format. For saves, go to system settings and change save type to your preference.

No offense but this update didn't make any features for me at all. Like I don't have a DSi so that GBA thing you did is useless for me. And the only thing there is is the Rom compatibility. No new features. I don't even have a Wii.

No offense but this post didn't have any "OMG moments" for me at all. Like I don't give a s**t so your rant is useless for me and for everyone here. And the only thing there is in this thread is "appreciation". No ungratefulness. I don't even have a bad thing to say about this update.

No but its still good. Just saying I don't have any of those stuff. You should have left the Plugin for the TXT at least it was good.

EDIT: You should have change the GBA Saves to make them .sav not .gba.sav.... Also did you remove that weird header that AKAIO made in GBA saves?

For me the reverse alphabetical sorting was a nice improvement. Now all my new roms are up at the top where they are more easily found.

This is great that akaio v1.5 has been released , but I found if you hold down A or X to turn off the new DMA mode to run Saga 2: Hihou Densetsu - Goddess of Destiny, there are only white blank frames and cannot run .
However, if you play it normally , you cannot save the game.....indeed my initial save has been broken with this.

EDIT: try play it with the patched rom

I have already try the Clean Rom and the PATCHed Rom with different patches and I have tried them with and without the old DMA mode. Unforunately there is no a single time it works.....

How can i get back the old text plugin? this one IS more beautiful but parsing the textfile takes so long...

and i can't find the ' start at root' option anymore

No but its still good. Just saying I don't have any of those stuff. You should have left the Plugin for the TXT at least it was good.

Personally I'm very satisfied with what they did with 1.5. Basically keep kernel size small, interface clean & keep compatibility on high. There is no need for rubbish plugins, just install moonshell if you want multimedia (which I don't use).

the .sav caught me off guard. i was freaked out because my pokemon saves didn't work. good thing there was an option to go back to .nds.sav
also love the new compatibility. great work guys, making my a2i worth it
