Hacking AKAIO 1.5 Released

Ive played multiple games on this new firmware,and everything is nice and smooth as always. And I don't have to patch anymore which is very sexy. lol
I have only 1 problem,I reformatted the SD card. Added the new firmware,everything works perfect 99% the 1% is I cant change my theme except for the default Akaio and Zelda one... Someone please help.

Update your loaders guys, hopefully most of the compatibity issues some people were having should be fixed.

I assume this is for the SaGa 2 whitescreen problems. Thank you.

You can wifi the updated loaders through AKAIO's Wifi update or you can download them from the new loaders link on the front page article.

By the way, Normmatt, is the minor graphical flicker that occurs during saving, in like M&L BIS and the Ace Attorney series, normal? Is it a result from saving to the flashcard or is it from some other reason? Thank you.

This is the second loader update today. The first said SaGa 2 fixes.

I have a question..I am running AKAIO 1.4.1(on AceKard 2.1) on my DS Lite..so all I have to do is replace the akmenu4.nds file and the _AIO folder right? just have to let them overright each other? The only game I have saved on my AceKard right now is Mario and Luigi and I dont want to lose the save, so should I take the save game and put it on my desktop just in case something happens to it and I can put it right back in? Does the new update fix the issue where when I am saving the game and quit, it goes to white screen but when I press save and continue it works just fine. thanks

i seem to be having issues with this. im new to akaio (been using the main firmware) and ive done every instruction down to the smallest detail but when i boot up the ace card it says loading it flickers from white to black and stays black. any ideas?

Delete your _aio and akmenu4.nds and place the new firmware files into the root of your SD card. Don't overwrite. Don't delete your games and saves of course.

ive tried that, ive even went as far as reformatting with the panasonic formater. but i still see nothing but black.

Thanks for the info. About to do it now. I never delete any of my games. But I already put a copy of Mario and Luigi on my computer just in case something does go wrong..is that what you mean by not deleting games.

Ok here is the thing. I saved the saved game on my computer(Thank goodness) because now when I go to the AceKard and I try playing the game, it deleted my save game..so what do I have to do?

Here is some things to try
+Reformatting
+Downloading the latest firmware from Akaio again. (New loaders are out)
+Check if you have a bad connection between the card and the DS/DSi
+Try another DS/Try older firmware you might be using a fake Acekard.. a clone... maby. I'm not a professional.

drag and drop the akaio 1.5 files add afew games pop the msd in your cart put the cart in your ds/dsi and enjoy!

I did that, but now my Mario/Luigi save is gone, luckily I saved the file on my computer before I put in the new firmware but how do I put it back in, I dont want to start the game from scratch

Damn,I hate typing so much but a lot of people need help. The saves aren't gone most likely,its just default save file is now .sav so just rename the last part of your saves (Through the computer) into .sav or I believe there is a option through the card to automatically detect save types,and when I said don't delete your games I meant,don't reformat your card without backing up your games,which im sure you did.

xpa-mal3-cracked.nds.sav(that was the save game)
xpa-mal3-cracked.sav(that is the new save it created when I put back in the card..so what should I do exactly..dont want to do anything wrong..appreciate your help!

Wait, you got a saved game working again, what did you do to make it work..see above post to see what I have in my card, just want to be able to play Mario/Luigi save again

The save should work now since its .sav
