Just a few weeks ago TheFlow updates his excellent ePSP CFW Adrenaline to version 2, bringing about 64mb support, more custom filters and bringing about various fixes for some games. And now, he's teasing the release of version 3 which introduces one of the most sought after features since he announced the original Adrenaline release...PS1 support with full sound!

Here's the changelog posted by TheFlow on his Twitter account earlier today:
- Changelog v3 -
- Added ability to launch PS1 games from XMB and play them with full sound.
- Added ability to save and load states using the 'States' tab in the Adrenaline menu.
- Added possiblity to connect USB in XMB and added 'Toggle USB' option to recovery menu.
- Added ability to return to livearea by double tapping the PS button.
- Added Adrenaline startup image designed by Freakler.
- Added option to force high memory layout. For 'The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion' Demo.
- Added option to execute 'BOOT.BIN' in UMD/ISO. For 'Saints Row: Undercover' Demo.
- Added correct enter and cancel buttons assignment.
- Fixed volatile memory allocation bug that made 'Star Wars: The Force Unleashed',
'Tony Hawk's Project 8' and maybe more games crashing.
- Fixed bug that was introduced in v2 which caused some games to crashed at PMF sequences.
- Fixed NoDrm engine bug where fan translated games couldn't load PGD decrypted files.
- Fixed msfs directory filter bug that caused some games not to recognize savedatas.
- Fixed compatiblity of base games, any game should now be able to use Adrenaline to the fullest.

TheFlow states that the update will be released "This week", whether that means within the next couple of days or sometime after the Easter weekend is unknown, but either way I can't wait for this update for what is, IMO, the best ePSP CFW released to date!

I will update this thread as soon as he releases Adrenaline v3, so keep an eye out!

EDIT: IT'S OUT.

Grab it now from https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/Adrenaline/releases

Install is the same as Adrenaline v2, just place the files in ux0:adrenaline!

I dont have twitter account, so someone can ask to Flow, for me, if he can add the options to save and load states by button combo and not only in adrenaline menu? (so if we can decide from either adrenaline menu and button combo) Better if we can set a custom button combo, because some games might use the same button combo for an action lol
This adrenaline sounds much better every times!

Last edited by Lord M,
do all the games have to be named eboot.pbp and in a folder?
Ive renamed most of mine to the title of the game e.g crash.pbp

I've been eagerly awaiting PS1 support but using my own scanline overlay with pcsx works like a charm.

I wonder how you'll be able to run the ps1 games. Will you need the iso's or can you use the eboot.php ones?

They will probably have to be eboot.pbp, y'know, like how it worked on the PSP :P
