Hacking Adrenaline not reading PSP iso from uma0.

Ok so here's my problem. When I install adrenaline and launch it for the first time I change the memori stick location to uma0. This is where I have the pspemu/ISO folder with all my isos por apps. Once I did that it work they were all being shown on the PSP game section. Now after turning it off and on the PSP doesn't show the games on the game section but if I got to the video part it shows the memory card with the correct. Space left on the uma0. Only the games are not showing up. Any help to solve this?

A few ppl have reported this, I've tried to recreate the bug, but no luck.

Recheck that you only have one tai folder in ur0, and recheck config.txt in tai folder.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling adrenaline.

Well I ended up uninstalling adrenaline and reinstalling and it works now. But since I had 153 games more them the limit the PSP has I install category lite plugin to create folders as categories. But now on first boot it works folder are shown as memory cards with all games after going to one category and changing to another if I go back to the any category no games are show IT says there are no games. In this case I have to exit adrenaline and re enter it for them to show up again. What could be causing this ?

you have a PSP plugin enabled which is causing the problem

go into adrenaline, press select, goto recovery menu, plugins, disable everything

try again

EDIT, just read your last post, disable catagories lite, do you have all the games sorted into catagory folders? If so move one PSP game to the ISO folder and try again if that game shows it's an issue with your folders, if all the games show it's because you have failed to put them into catagory folders

Thanks yes I got it working by re installing adrenaline again. Then I install categories lite it works now but I have this problem out of nowhere the games disappear from the categories folder in the adrenaline emulator. I re launch the adrenaline to be able to see them again.

Yes this is unfixable due to the psp games limit it can show only a max of 126 psp games at one time. You have to reboot adrenaline to show another 126.
I have around 200 or so psp games and just made bubbles for my favorite games and use adrenaline for the games without bubbles. I have asked theflow if it's possible to make the limit higher but he pretty much said that's the limit for psp games. Ps1 games are unaffected by this you can have as many as you want.
Vita also has 500 bubble limit so be ready to delete some bubbles if you ever reach it.

Questions how is it that with me it says that theres a 100 bubble limit with me I have a vita with 3.60 and when I install my vita games and everything else that's what it keep saying and I created folder to make them all appear but it was telling me a 100 limit

I think that's what it is 100 without folders but 500 with folders, I've always used folders anyway so I've never ran into the 100 limit but have run into the 500 limit a few times.

Oh lol I see thanks now if you dont mind me asking a different subject you seen to know alot more I just got in to the psvita modding 2 days ago. What are the best ways to play gba games on the vita ? I tried retroarch but it lags alot even with the lolicon over clock to the highest. I think it does SNES just fine all I need is gba now

Edit: forgot to mention I also have the mgba stand alone emulator install but it keeps force closing on any game start up.

Sure no problem, i recommend mgba emulator, it runs both gba and gbc games and it runs almost perfect with lolicon (at least the games I've played anyway) and it's still being updated every now and then, last update was on the 25th of last month. Definitely mgba over retroarch for gba/gbc, the cores haven't been updated in quite a while afaik.

This is the one I have install but it keeps foreclosing it loads the start up screen then it forecloses when the game is about to start. I have to mention games are being load from uma0 since it let's me load from there.

I have my roms in uma0 as well and ran into the same problem, it's a mgba config error that happems because the last directory no longer exists and it can't load it so it crashes.

to fix go into ux0>data>mgba and open config.ini file

Find lastDirectory=
And edit to location of your roms
mine is
lastDirectory=uma0:/Roms/GBA/

If you have a bios you can edit bios=location of bios as well.

Never mind i misread your post, ignore what i said above, sorry.
You just need a bios and in mgba settings point to the bios and the games should work if not it's the game itself and you'll have to make/find another copy.

Thanks for the info but when I open the mgba emulator y just gives me a directory to find my rom and load it how do I enter the settings I tried looking for it but no luck. Or is it only on the config file?

Yea just do it from the config, i just checked and it looks like the menu only appears with triangle when a game is running ironically.

Add useBios=1 before Bios= and have lastDirectory= last

Also I think you're just missing a / after ux0: in the bios part

Ah yea my bad it should be gba.bios= and lastDirectory should just be a folder that exists doesn't matter what it is.

It could also be the savedata, retroarch savedata is not compatible with mgba.

Oh I see so the naming for this files the bios for retroarch and mgba is different let me try that right now.

Tried that ot doesn't work what could it be I'll will reinstall to see if its different. I'll report back

It should be gba.bios=location of bios/name of bios

Just make sure everything is pointing to the right filename.
